I keep hearing people go on about bitcoin, and it's fascinating how they completely miss the point that it is an international currency for crime. I mean, so what if you've got 5 billion bing bongs, it ain't worth shit if you can't convert it into actual real life money that you can buy things with that can't be seized by some legal jurisdiction on the grounds of it being ultimately founded on ill-gotten-gains... you may as well exchange it for a kilo of smack for all it's actually worth in practical terms. I'm quite sure severe regulation is just around the corner to burst this bubble.
