remember how Gold was going to replace currency after 2008 and the end of the world,

guess what, didn't happen

PayPal was revolutionary, sending cash with emails, that was 1000% better than bitcoins, and the technology was simple

the more complex the tech for "show off" reasons, the more likely it will collapse on its own failures

bring me a real revolutionary financial asset, with real tech justification, and practical justification (like a credit card, another revolution), and I will be all for it

but speculating on bitcoins with chavs, Indians and drug criminals ? no thank you, I don't see any practical reason for it
