Right, I have a wallet from Blockchain, want to start off with a couple of ETH and part BTC, and top up as I feel more comfy with the system. Now what?

How to buy and transfer funds to where from online banking? For sales, is it in auto reverse? Is my wallet safe as soon as I take it offline (which means physically entering details each login)? Obviously can't take it offline till transactions are (safely) executed. As purchases go into wallet, this means wallet details are available to any and all, and in turn that the password is the key to the entire shebang.

Those are the easy bits...
