My daughter has three nationalities and it always surprised me when sorting out the citizenship papers that no country asked about any other nationalities. She has British from me, Thai from her Thai mother and also Aussie from her Thai mother who is also a naturalised Aussie. As Looper says, it makes international travel an awful lot easier.
The Thais definitely know about the daughter's British citizenship (and the wife's Australian citizenship) as when leaving Swampy on many occasions, both using their Thai passports to leave, immigration have also asked to see their UK/Aussie passports to assure the immigration officer that they will be granted entry to the UK on arrival.
