The weekend is here. Time to sample a few new ales. Then I’ll listen to some YouTube and bump Withnall’s thread before he can get to it.

Happy Friday mate. I had a couple of Franziskaner yesterday, a dependable and quite reasonably priced ale.
Cheers KW. The first one went down fast.![]()
Mine too, I started with the Pale Ale (Orange) - it was crisp and refreshing, now moved onto the yellow IPA, it's a darker yellow and they describe it as resinous.
I only had 2 KW and stopped. Just fired up the Q, tonight is a Pork Tenderloin with potato wedges. Just poured me some Whistlepig Rye.
Bottoms up!!!!!

I really want to track down a bottle of the 18 year Rye
When the sun set I moved into Talisker.
thinking about an upgrade to a wee nip of Laphroaig
now...
Cheap gin and sprite because hashtag Friday.
3.5 liters of Cheers Riceberry beer. Reminds me a bit of the red Irish ales, nice flavour, light fizz, never leaves any sort of receipt the next morning.
Beer Lao IPA, Limited Edition.
Not bad at all. I'll have another some time.

btw, is routinely (and happily and easily) putting away 4 liters of beer in the time it takes Edith to drink 2 bottles of Spy a possible sign or indication of anything?![]()
Due to a special on our local online buyers group I got a slab of tenants 1885 lager cheaper than the Tsingtao I usually drink which is a bright refreshing fizzy to start the day.
Is it me or is that Tennant's crap.
Sunday afternoon around the ‘Q
Just picked me up 6 of these yesterday. Another nice Hefe. Plan on a few Q'ing tonight. Not sure what I will grill yet.

Well with the Thai Holiday tomorrow and the factory closed, I will enjoy a little sip from a new bottle tonight. Not sure what's on the menu yet.
Bottoms up.

Nice KW. You know after all my years of drinking Scotch, I find that 12 years aged always seem to taste better. 18s are OK but not sure if they are worth the money. Some 21s have been good but I have had some 12 year Glens that were far better than 18s and some 21s. 25s and 30s are always excellent but you do not drink them a lot.
Bourbon is very different. I prefer Cask strength single barrel types as they are quite good.
Enjoy your sip.
Cheers
