    What am I drinking?

Since my franco sabbatical it's been all about the numbers.

Back to work tomorrow, even if it is just a very chilled summer school. Never drink a drop if I have to teach the next day so 'enjoying' water. Tomorrow I will also restart my gym routine. The excitement is non stop here in Mandalay!

Water with lime juice is my regular tipple, but a beer every so often, maybe three or four bottles in a month these days sorts it for me.

    Keep moving, stay alive, mate.

Once every few months I would guess. The social calendar here in Mandalay helps with that.

^^^ Keep it going, Mandaloopy, get past the mid life crisis point (35-42 yoa) when hormones change from testosterone to estrogen in a bloke, and one tends to feel more emotional, slow down and slob out, losing shape.

Beer causes more estrogen to build up yer fat levels and man boobs. Have a drink, it's OK, just don't hammer it, (less beer, specifically, wine's better) and keep fit, without stressing.

Watch your calcium and cholesterol levels at this point on,...arteriosclerosis starts about then,

Do that and you'll cruise through.

I've seen aerators before, but never one like that.

    Where bought?

    Cost?

    Is it one of these?

Giving the Hook Norton Twelve Days half litre bottle another crack.

5.5% nutty and rich but not quite as good as I remember it last time. Maybe my beer buds are off this month.

The air war museum enters the dawn of the jet age this month with 1/48 engine detailed examples of Hitler's futuristic Horten 229 flying wing and in the British corner the more workman like Gloster Meteor.

Was forced to hit the mad monk juice tonight to endure the sickly confection that is The Great Wall.

Debuting in the Air War Museum this week it is movie week with the insect winged Westland Lysander as flown by Brad Pitt in Allied. The beast that crashes in the garden later in the movie is Goering's only heavy bomber, the infamous Heinkel 177.

The Lysander was normally used for liaison and covert night missions but this one is equipped with rockets on wheel stub wings for extra coolness.

And bringing up the rear the Vought Corsair that makes a cameo in Cross of Iron.

I'm just about to sup a bottle of Sandport "Bang Bang" IPA. It's a Taiwanese 'craft beer'. I've never tried it before. At 150 baht for a 330ml bottle, I'm hoping it's good.
