With the Giants winning and moving on to the NLCS against St Louis, I plan on cracking open my Casa Dragones sipping Tequila.

You can read more about here if interested. http://casadragones.com/new-casa-dra...ilver-tequila/ (BTW, the price listed of $75 is in Mexico. Here in the states due to limited quantities its way more than that. Just a shot is near $25.
I am pretty much an exclusive Anejo or extra Anejo sipper but this silver seemed intriguing enough to try. Some say it has the smoothness of a Top Anejo. My Dad and I will see.

I shall indeed drink to that.
Vin rouge, yet again. Boringly predictable :chitown:
Nothing wrong with that. ;)
Real man's beer.

Is that lychee in Mrs KW's martini?
Yes.
She finds martinis too strong otherwise. Mine is a classic dry.
Had one of these a few days ago.

Not for the faint hearted..
Initially brewed and sent out to the British soldiers in India, supposed to be watered down at 5.8%.
The soldiers and myself prefer it without the water.
Cheers.
My wife brought me a present back from BKK.

It has ruined my life as nothing else comes close to this heavenly brew and there is not a bottle to be found here in Chiang Mai. :(
Even my favorite, Beer Lao Dark, just doesn't taste so good anymore.

That is pretty. Does it actually come out of the bottle purple? Anyways, I love any kind of wheat, weis or white beer and there's quite a selection on tap, as well as bottled, at the Beer Republic. Check it out: Beer Menu | Beer Republic Chiang Mai Sacra is out of the bottle (unfortunately) but it's a Spanish brew and pretty good. The little Spanish joint right next to Beer Republic serves it also.
Thanks for that info. Beer Republic is over in Nimmanhaemin. Guess I shall have to fight traffic and the trendy kids to get my purple beer. :(
Must have been too dark for me to see the purple. Looked like bock to me.
I didn't say they had that purple beer at Beer Republic! (there are the beers on the menu but they also chalk a few new ones up every night). But why not ask them to get it? Here's another link that might save you the traffic jams and bad views on the drive over to Beer Republic: Craft Beer Delivery | Thailand | Bangkok | ??????????????????????? | Wishbeer Scroll down the page and voila! Schneider Weisse Aventinus. Now the site promises delivery and it's based in BKK but the order page specifies the provinces. Do keep me updated.:chitown:
Ahhh Yes......Going to break the seal tonight....

White wine Friday, or everyday for that matter.
Maybe, perhaps, shall get the voddie in for the weekend.

Mein Gott! It is 12%
A whole bottle of wine is usually about 15 percent.
The beers that are so strong usually taste a bit syrupy and heavy.
I just found a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale in my cupboard. I might drink it tonight but it must have been in my cupboard for at least 3 years. Will it still be drinkable? How long does beer last in a bottle? The label has a date of 30.11.07 but I don't know if that's the sell by/use by date or the production date.
