I'm in Awestralyia at the moment. The availability of decent wines (compared to Jkt) is to be enjoyed. Here's one random white that I sampled. Quite drinkable.

You should have turned the bottle upside down!!
for some reason I cannot adjust the picture I uploaded, as I do not have permission ? perhaps the mods adjusted the settings due to posters editing deleting their pictures.
for some reason I can't imagine you're not a mod.Quote:

That's how I roll bitch:)
Poofs drinking wine.:)
LOL see the word Margaux on a bottle of wine and thinks "hmm this will be a world best". You might have missed the part of the label that says Cru Bourgeois though. Basically after all the pressings are done, and there is still a bit more slurry in the grapes, they make a Cru Bourgeois and hope that the word Margaux on the bottle will convince people that it is worth paying a bit more for. If you're going to be a wine snob, at least know a little something before you try Dilli or stick to the lager and lime.
:smileylaughing:
It tasted nice and I'm glad I never footed the bill for it:) at 6,000 baht

The steak looked edible. That jello with ice cream looks a bit synthetic but it must be tasty or you wouldn't have ordered it. Cheers.
Was the sorbet the pallet cleaner, the trou normand, between the fish and meat plates. And did it contain some sort of very strong alcohol. That cleans your mouth out.
Looks like a nice meal. Especially the foie gras. I love that stuff, even being the animal lover that i am. And should be against the way they make it.
Long time since i have eaten a meal as posh as that. I would probably get my knives and forks mixed up!!! Nah, i was brought up propah, i know to eat from the outside in.
Weel, damn me if I didn't. But which comes first the right side or the left side or whatever? Secondly, if you're left-handed, is it permissible to switch the group on the left with those on the right?Quote:

So do you blend all that crap up and drink it through a straw ?

A ---- light and clear soft yellow, almost no head
S --- earthy and not much else. It really lacks any nose
T --- acid and flat/not much life too it/no strong presence of hops or malts
M --- low-medium body, lightly carbonated
O --- Boring and lacking. i'm not sure what the goal of this beer was, but it misses it on all fronts.
To get me pissed.Quote:

A green for anyone who can guess within 2000 baht of the price of that?
I went to look for that cru wine today. On the vivino app it says you can buy it for 1500 baht, I couldn't find it though but that's when I picked up that bottle there and all the security came over:)
120,000 bleeding baht
Bloomin heck. Would be 600-700 quid in the UK. Taxes for that should be 61% so they have marked it up double the gross import price. Just image the Junta bosses slurping that down with somtam.
Might think twice about using it as a spritzer though. :smileylaughing:

That's about 250 baht for those 4 small bottles. I don't drink wine much, but thought it'd be an excellent opportunity to support the Australian economy and try 4 different wines. :)
Red sent.Quote:
