No, darling. It's taken me a week. And i had a friend round who drank half of it.

Spending a week with your mother does wonders for your drinking habits. And liver. And the non smoking is great for your lungs.

And i don't take taxis - at Geneva Airport there is a bus ticket machine that gives you free busses for an hour and a half. I got the number ten bus and then the 15 tram. 45 minutes home.

Then i had a drink and a cig.

It's a well know fact that you can get free bus tickets at Geneva Airport. A machine on the way out of the baggage reclaim area. Just beside the green channel. Press the button and presto!! and you can get as many as you want. Probably the only thing free in Switzerland!!

I usually do get a few, and give them out to people at the bus stop. Who have no change, nor can they work the ticket machine. The drivers are usually having a cig break and are of no help at all. And pretend not to speak English.

I think of it as my good deed for the day!!

It took me seven hours door to door from Edinburgh to here. I timed it.

Don't be nasty. I spent a great week with my family. I do have one. Sister, brother, mother. Three nephews and a great niece who is 9 months old.

When was the last time you went home and spent some time with yours? Or are you too busy getting your end off with your numerous wives? Or ladyboys, of which you so pompously announced you were going to marry one?

This "Patsy is an alcoholic" joke is getting a bit old, don't you think?

And KW i haven't posted almost 60,000 posts in almost ten years. That's a bit pathetic too.

You are starting to get boring, and my god, it has taken me nine years to admit that. So fuck off and leave me alone.

If others on this Forum, who i respect, do not want me to post any more - then i shall retire gracefully. Otherwise - i am still here. And shall stay for as long as i want. It is a Forum for everyone, isn't it? Not just you.

And if you think that i would sit on a bus or wait for a bus and glug out of a bottle of duty free. You have lost it, not me.

Shit i wish i could talk to some of you lot face to face. Then you would see the real me.

Hey, Patsy, I'm still here too! And went all the way from TH to CA to see the farm animals (my family) there in California. Vienna to the UK beats that by a silly bit, eh?

Gravesend Dave is in Geneva just now. What a coincidence, he stated on another travel forum that is the route he is taking.

no have drink this year.. 130+ days now.

Though I haven't being seeping too well since I stopped, so may have to start again soon.
I'm reduced to virtual drinking .
Today I visited an imaginary run down convenience store in downtown USA,
and scored a 40 ounce bottle of St Ides high gravity malt liquor $1.99.
It came in a splendid made to measure brown paper bag .

I'm just getting started on it , right from the bottle old school style !
Not bad , but no reinheitsgebot ...

''Get your girl in the mood quicker, make your jimmy thicker, St. Ides"

Alcohol content ? indeterminate , not stated on the bottle , but strong !!
Frothing up a bit now, with a big fucking head ,
    but I'll soldier on,,

Fuck all wrong with that, Pats. I tanned a bottle of duty-free voddie in the Kuala Lumpur airport bogs once. Absolute lemon it was. Hit the spot nicely.

Tonight I have a pair of peroni and a becks.

Inflate the bag like a balloon then tip it upside down over your gob and squeeze, good for another glass.

Fairly easy as long as they keep them in their wallets along with their Diners Club, AMex and Mastercard.

^ No. There's a Schengen visa but it doesn't cover every EU country.
