Has to be waterford chrystal. Best chrystal glasses in the world.
The sound they make when you touch your glasses together, is known around the world.

Sorry NZDick. You do not know your whiskeys.

Three Oaks cider. An Australian cider apparently, from Adelaide. It's not too bad.

Granted, I'm no expert on Whiskey.. but the name "Highland Cream" is deceptive.. I assure you it's a whiskey (although it's a blend)... it's supposed to be 'fairly' good for a budget whiskey... I assure you, it's not a cream (like Baileys' lol)...Originally Posted by patsycat

OK, what's the best crystal?
What's wrong with Waterford?
The Waterford factory closed down. Doesn't mean that i don't own a perfect six six and six of their glasses. Which are at least 100 years old. My Granny got them as a Wedding present in 1920, she gave them to my Dad as a Wedding present in 1951 and he gave them to me. All intact, apart from one sherry glass, that is going to be replaced. I would never sell them, and am frightened to use them!! They will eventually go to my Great Niece. Who is only three months old!!
Back on subject, i am drinking my aperitif. Today, i changed from wine to beer. A Heiniken.

Not a bad quality shot for someone who's knocked back the bones of half a bottle of whiskey.
Though admittedly he was going more gung-ho into than me.
Pistonhead "KUSTOM" lager.
It tastes a bit weak, which suits me as I'm not really a lager drinker. The can says 4.6% VOL.

Yeah, once I've recovered 100% from the flu, I shall give it a good old Kiwi try...Originally Posted by Luigi

I want to try Highland Park *single malt (as I mentioned) as well..

*last night! not drinking it right now. Bit of a monster really, prefer a lighter beer. (10.5%)
Can have a nice shave before you drink it.
Kirin Beer
The label says it's JAPAN'S PRIME BEER. Well, if that's the best Japan has to offer, I'll stay well clear of any other Japanese beer.

Same as every day, Leo![]()
This evening I have a brace of Peroni and a swirl or two of single malt.
Peroni eh very nice, I've got a bottle of Bisson in the freezer and I'm doing frozen shots along side Crabbies ginger beer.
two for 4quid in the co-op Stinkster. And, if they tickle your fancy, Tesco are discontinuing Hobgoblin and currently punting them out for 1.25p a pop.Originally Posted by Stinky
