This all comes about by farangs that want to be Thais. 'Stockholm Syndrome' springs to mind.

I met a few of these types over the years and I can imagine many of them attending the protests with their two-bit opinions, and I admit nearly all were self opinionated euro arseholes (think French, Italian, German, Swedish etc)

The French were the biggest fucking wankers I ever met in Thailand.

I was with a 'wannabe Thai' the other week. He had a beer in one hand so for every cnut that came to the party he 'wai-ed' them using the other hand.

It was these wannabe Thai Euro pricks who brought the DJ fees right down as of 2002-3. Whereas you could earn 5-6k Baht for 2hrs in 2002, by 2004 it was down to about 1.5-2k cos these tossers were working for peanuts or even free just so they could ''be connected to the real Thai nightlife''

Reminds of the first time I ever encountered Austra-aliens, there in bar on Patpong road, they were fighting over who got to eat the banana which some girl had shot from her pussy.
Ya, you're correct. I've had a look too but I didn't have a farckin whistle or ahead band. They are fucking twats for walking into a political mess. I'd like to see them down the falls road wearing a King Billy shirt and saying ''It's aroused a bit of intrigue for us; you know, let's go have a look". Wanks

The more the protests, the more the Baht falls .
Theres an incentive for Ex-Pats on a pension to join in with the riots .

Yes Sven, you do sound very stupid. How about a nice military junta before democracy, like Burma- or maybe a dose of the Khmer Rouge, like Khmer? Or a Laotian hermit kingdom, perhaps?

I have never understood why people got paid big money to play songs .

Do explain why people were paid a large amount of money to play bother peoples songs ?
Pretentious people want to appear to be cool by paying lots of money to watch a DJ put the needle on the record and to stand there with one hand on his headphone and the other arm pumping up and down .
FFS, you go to a Club to listen to songs, not to watch someone putting the songs on !!!

I must say you are quite the troll.

And in my defence, I'd like to say that if you'd shut up talking about myself you may learn a thing or two from me. All you have to do is put me down or say stop talking about yourself when it is you talking about me all the while. . I definitely know you are not a girl to act like you are.

Anyhooo... no use in saying anything on this forum cause it is a waste of breath.
you complete twit, she's not talking about you.

    besides, thought you flounced?

Oooooh he's questioning my DJ credibility!! Not really I couldn't give a shit. There's no 'trade secrets' to DJing like those muso types really badly want you to believe.

You would play that crap as well for 75k a month for 5 nights (tues-sat) a week alternating with that girl band. Free food and all booze, plus the DJ booth was upstairs on the balcony looking down, so also, I didn't get bothered at all!

I am convinced that very soon at these demos you're gonna see a DJ on stage there playing techno music waving his hands around

Takes a real wanker to do that

I saw Mr.C DJing a few times when I was 15/16. I didn't go specifically to see him (or Adamski who played regularly) but in those days the DJ couldn't even be seen playing records. Not like now with their Apple Macs using that Traktor program and mostly miming

Oh boy this was really bad. Didn't hear one word of Thai during this show. The characters were awful and Thailand looks like the shittest destination on earth now.

BBC typically losing its credibility as it tries to compete for the younger audience watching x factor and other channels. Plus younger kids have computers to view what they want.
