why don't you build yourself a motel and use it is a source of income ?
Funny you should say that, because it sounds like a good plan, especially if no-one else except me has a share or say in the business...

I'll think on this today -I need to pop down to the amphur for this divorce, so I better take my reading glasses to make sure that the correct details are written into the divorce contract about our joint hotel asset...

You need to sort your finances and bitches out. You should ask your family to book you a plane ticket home and forget about ever returning to Thailand...obviously Thailand isn't for you

The joint asset that obviously is not giving you any income if you have to beg your wife for 1000b to buy some food.

I don't want to spoil the party Simon, but didn't you post that you controlled the financials?

It might be considered sarcastic to reply in kind?

The whole point about sarcasm and dry humour is that you don't make it bleedin obvious.....

Anyway, the divorce all went smoothly and cost me all of 80 baht. Ex-wife #2 declined to contribute to this expense

Bloody inflation. My first one was only 50 Baht. Still that was 22 years ago.

How come you never seem to get an income from the hotel despite you harping on about being a 50% owner?

Because I don't need an income from them....

If I really needed an income, then I would simply deduct some funds from the agent payouts before I forward them to the exes. Ex #1 deposits cash profits into my bank account and I have free room and board when I need it.

I do fine with my own income from teaching.

Now if I really wanted a high income, I'd need more than what is generated by the hotel businesses...

@waradmiral - both hotels are full tonight, (not difficult because there are not many rooms, but nice when you remember that it's low season in Phuket)
