I did not start the thread to cite a debate between manufacturers. I just do not get Apple fucktards? They are dolts! Nobody stands in line over night for a Samsung, LG, Kindle, HTC etc etc. I find that to be how normal people should behave. A new product and you go look when you want. But the Apple Ifad and iPhone idiots are really something to laugh at. I mean they parade around, buy T shirts, put decals on their car then run around waving their gimmicky toy in front of people like all of a sudden you are to be a lesser person if you do not have the new iphone/iFad with Retina display.... My stance on Smartphones, I am not against them at all. I like having one media device when out traveling. In fact I enjoy the technology they offer. I have all my music set up in mine(Means no need for a portable mp3 player when I ride my bike), They have very good cameras(No need to have a separate camera). Functional GPS system in case you get off the beaten path and need to get turned back around(No need for a handheld deal or one in your car). Can call when need to talk. Can email pictures anytime anywhere to family and friends world wide(No need to be sitting in front of a computer). Set up reservations to restaurants. Do my banking(No need to have to plan on going to the bank). Why not make life easier and remain mobile? I get that some like owning the 20 year old Nokia or Ericsson phone but why not use technology? Even my 77 year old Dad has a smart phone and he really likes it.

However I will say the people that have their face in them all day is over the top. I use it when I need it. When I was in Angkor Wat, Cambodia I was sending real time pictures to my mother in California as I walked them. It was actually quite amazing. BTW I have no games in my phone. That's when it becomes a toy IMHO.

But I do ride 10 to 20 miles frequently and enjoy my music. I have 7 genres, specific playlists and over 2000 songs from a huge cross section. And I listen to my music while riding my Moto as well. Run my wireless Jabra deal underneath my helmet. In fact in my new car it is all bluetooth and I connect to my Smartphone and play my music through the car stereo system. Commercial free, no CD's. Again why have 3 or more devices when you can have it all in one and only one device to worry about charging and maintaining...I mean they just make sense. Like I said I do understand the people who want just a simple one dimensional easy to use mobile telephone. More power to them. I have a few friends like that but I find it quite funny when they ask me to take a picture and email it to them or help them find a place or search for something on the internet.
