Shame.
Anyone want to tell me why a red card for that is a "disgraceful decision" as the two old Welsh tossers doing my commentary are saying?
Already acting like bad losers and it's only half time.
HT still 15-14
Still no sign of GarryOwen. more sign of en dent de scies
well, Wales did Ok but France managed to hold it
well done Frogs
Brave effort by Wales, but it wasn't to be. That last penalty kick was just short...
The Welsh guys played well with one man down and had chances to put more points on the board and win the game.
Sorry that they didn't make the final, must be very frustrating for them as the French were not that impressive on the day.
A great opportunity passed them by today. Lovely try boyoos btw.
Having watched the French play this year I cannot believe they have reached the final.
In fact they were damn lucky to have made it through the preliminary rounds.
Wales have a youngish talented side and I feel this WC has been a great experience for them.
And to Bobcock.........I am sure deep down you are pretty proud of your boys so stop all this crying.
Hard luck Wales ,A superb and brave performance with 14 men. Commiserations.
France - Oz final then seeing as NZ will choke tomorrow.
Bet he regrets the way that tackle ended up... Hard luck Wales - The French don't deserve to be there.
They were bloody ordinary and can count themselves lucky to be in the final.Originally Posted by Mr Lick

Holy crap, I forgot all about the match (too busy with something else!) so will have to make do with watching the rerun! What a shame for Wales though, I really hoped they would make it, and not just to the final but come out overall winners. Just have to support the French now, the 'Auld Alliance' and all that, and because the Kiwis and Wallabies have won it before. It'll be interesting to see what game the French bring along and how much pressure will be on NZ, if they make it.
Can we now lower the Welsh flag to half mask currently flying over number 10.
Reminds me of England 4 years ago. They were bloody awful and didn't deserve to be anywhere near the final, but in the end were half an inch from winning it again.
What a choice; France, NZ or Aus. All a bunch of tossers.
Felt very sorry for the Taffs .....Very harsh call by the ref.
With 14 men down they played like champions.
No fairy tale ending there. How dumb of the Welsh skipper too. Do you reckon he should have got away with ten minutes in the sin bin? It would have likely been a different result.
Re-phrase that please.Originally Posted by Little Chuchok

To summarise, the possible scenarios when a tackler horizontally lifts a player off the
ground:
_ The player is lifted and then forced or “speared” into the ground. A red card
should be issued for this type of tackle.
_ The lifted player is dropped to the ground from a height with no regard to the
player’s safety. A red card should be issued for this type of tackle.
_ For all other types of dangerous lifting tackles, it may be considered a penalty
or yellow card is sufficient.
Referees and Citing Commissioners should not make their decisions based on what
they consider was the intention of the offending player. Their decision should be based
on an objective assessment (as per Law 10.4 (e)) of the circumstances of the tackle.
yes...full stop indeed...
Extract from International Rugby Board - Law amendments put player welfare first
My quote is dated 2010. Yours Little Chuchok is 2009. Full stop indeed. The amended Law 10.4(j) will now read: Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player’s feet are still off the ground such that the player’s head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground is dangerous play.
The amended Law will operate globally from December 1, 2010.

Oh? Would you care to make a wager? Let's have a little sig bet. If the All Blacks lose I will carry the sig that 'The All Blacks are chokers' for a month. If the All Blacks beat the Wallabies you carry the sig 'I don't know my arse from my elbow' for a month. You game or not?Originally Posted by buriramboy
