It's the Centenary - 100th Le Mans Anniversary but the 90th 'running' since 1923; not held in 1936 (labour strike) and 1940-1948 (WWII)

In the past, cars got close to the 400 kph mark, some even breaking the barrier on the Mulsanne Straight before the two chicanes were added. The record holder is the WM P88, which hit 407 kph on 11 June 1988.

And 6. #2 Cadillac Racing Cadillac V-Series.R – 338.1 kph – Earl Bamber from New Zealand has a good record at Le Mans with two wins and three podiums from 7 races - all with Porsche

Well I wouldn't go quite that far, but yes, he started racing in karting for Jenson's dad and they are best mates.
