Keep an eye on Kobbie Mainoo. 18 years old and added to the first team squad for this season. Not being loaned out.

You may recall me saying something similar this time last year about Garnacho.

Charlie Savage, Robbie's son, has signed for Reading.

He was obviously rated by Ten Hag, but he apparently wanted first team football and was told he wouldn't be getting it.

Sell on clause and first option to match any bids in the future inserted into the deal though.

    Anyway...

I'm quite looking forward to tonight and seeing Mainoo again; I'm hoping it will be a good workout for the kids and the seniors who play.

Roll on the proper stuff in 3 weeks time!

Would be a nice poster, if it wasn't for the ugly faces

United 2-0 Arsenal at HT as both sides change their entire teams for the 2nd half.

The 105 million pound Scott Mctominay bossed and bullied by 18 year old Kobbie Mainoo.

Edit: United have changed their team, but the cockneys are taking it all very seriously and have kept their first team on. Maybe they'll do a bit better against more of our reserves.

Looks like we played our new players and made two poor mistakes, but you had the advantage of not having any.

Gabriel appears to have started where he left off.

So United beat Arsenal 2 nil.

They then have a penalty shootout, and United beat them in that too.

To be fair to the soft southern wankers, Arsenal did manage more crying, moaning to the referee and rolling around on the floor than we did, so it wasn't a totally unsuccessful night for them.

Is it too late to ask for your money back for Havertz?

On the plus side, he only looks to be as awful as he was for Chelsea up front, so at least you've been sold the dud everybody knew he was.

To be honest I've hardly seen him play so I will reserve judgement.

Suffice to say he's a first pick on the Germany team sheet, so I'm not too worried.

He's just got to unlearn everything the hapless Chelski taught him.

    Fuck.

During his formative years, his style of play drew early comparisons to compatriot Mesut Özil

Don't you declare Pele to be the greatest player in history?

Yes, because of his achievements in Football when it wasn't played by diving namby pambys and a foul was a tackle above the neck.

Also I don't watch much by way of Chelski, Germany or Bundesliga games. Have you watched a lot then?

This is what Kobbie Mainoo looks like from the front.

Something the Arsenal midfielders didn't see very much of last night.

I saw him up close when we whupped Chelsea 4-1 towards the end of the season and he is excellent on the ball.

File alongside that other hapless German lad Chelsea had when it comes to putting the ball in the onion bag though.

Well it was certainly a surprise transfer to most Gooners, and there are of course already some moaning, but there were some moaning about the Nurnberg game which was just to shake the dust off. Every club has them.

Have to wait and see if he starts against Forest. I don't want another squarehead who spends most of the game sitting on his arse moaning to the ref that someone touched him though.

A United youth 11 (and Jonny Evans) v Wrexham (!!!) in San Diego at 3.30am UK time followed by United v Real Madrid in Houston at 1.30am the following night.

Might get up for the Wrexham game to see us in our new kit.
