hope someone far more computer savvy can answer that.
If I understand u correctly, I changed my ip on my computer in Network Connections today as I couldn't login to Box with my old IP that was banned.
So change it and check with ipconfig /all, reset your router to address the port specified in µtorrent to the new ip and thats it.
BKK It normally means u have a shit .toorent deliberately put there to fuck up the P2P community.
Best to start again with another and always read the comments. I got a bad torrent from IsoHunt this week that wanted me to use Domplayer to play it...don't, it is a scam.VLC will play everything.

"The supreme irony of life is that hardly anyone gets out of it alive."
Can't see the box being so great, am dling a ton of rubbish that self decency would never permit me to watch, in the hope of lining up with dozens of others on higher bandwidths to service the poor sods that want to dload the same junk...still running at -300mb and wondering how many months it'll take to break even at this rate, and is there anything on the box that I can't get from other sites anyway...the only redeemer is that I'm not dling much else so loads of spare bandwidth.
what have u done CMn, ur ip has changed and now your giving me 45KBbs
just had a power cut.Originally Posted by CharleyFarley
Well I done a bit of research on the net and it seems that using bitcomet might not be the best idea so I think I will switch to Azureus. Apparently a lot less rubbish data problems. It has got so much a problem that I get rubbish data downloading with the majority of my downloads these days.
I come across a lot of those scam torrents as well from isohunt, always wanting me to go and download a special player for it. But there is no way to play it even with VLC is there?
And I have to say, I love VLC Player!![]()
true, my puter ain't big enough for Axureus
i used to have a problem with azureus.Originally Posted by CharleyFarley
i upgraded to a gig of ram and now I don't.
I got a pretty new computer set up with a couple of gigs of RAM so should be cool, I'll put it on later and let you know how it goes. Really hope I can fix this problem, it's a real killer watching your computer download 2 gigs of crap before you can watch one episode of tv.![]()
Lay it all out logically in a new thread:
OS
connection
client
browser
torrent sites u use
versions etc
I only know a little ( tons of people around here who know more )
Maybe give an example of a shite torrent (linky)
Cheers
Maddy - I really would try uTorrent first. Az is a bit wank.
Will do, cheers MTD.![]()
I prefer it, honestly.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog

most seem to prefer it though.
btw.
my ratio is at a very healthy looking 1.7 this morning.
jumped on a few popular free torrents last night, including England v Croatia.
ok.
my ratio is fine now but looking at the rules, does it mean I have to download at least 2 gigs within the first week or is that just a ratio stipualtion?
If you've been a member for over 7 days and your ratio does not meet the criteria listed below, you will automatically receive a warning, you will only be able to leech 5 torrents, and you will lose any invites you have. In another 14 days, if your ratio has not met the criteria, you will automatically be demoted to peasant and will only be able to leech 1 torrent at a time. When this happens, you will have 2 weeks (14 days) to correct it or your account will be disabled. If you correct your ratio, the warning will automatically be removed and you will be promoted back to the User class, with all the benefits of that class again. The minimum ratio requirements are:
0.4 with 2 GB downloaded
0.5 with 3 GB downloaded
0.6 with 5 GB downloaded
0.8 with 12+ GB downloaded.
^ No, those are the ratios you have to maintain depending on how much you have downloaded.
does anyone need me to leach anything off them?
i ought to repay the favour.
excellent.
i've got someone in Thailand leeching the football off me at over 50KB/s
ratio is up over 2 now.
might just carry on upping free files for a few weeks till i start downloading stuff.
Tiz me u lucky so and so.
I saw all those leechers......only 9 now![]()
^
cheers.
i was lucky enough to wake up early to get my folks from the airport.
the torrent was brand new at the time.
![]()
still think it'll be a good torrent to up.
lots of people in England won't be awake for a few more hours.
when does Croatia wake up![]()
I think I have managed to overcome my IP address problem - but now its full.
Does anyone have an invite going spare?

They will not be open again today.
They will not be open again tomorrow.
They will not be open again this week.
They will not be open next week.
Look after your account, you won't be able to get another one.
I tried last night to get a torrent that was coming from thebox but I think it was removed already as errors come up with it.
The torrent was 'The Lakes', a superb English TV drama starring a young John Simms. Don't suppose anyone has it do they? Would love to watch it again.
