This RSS thingie is very confusing, BUT if you can wangle it somehow there is a way of automatically downloading torrents as soon as they are upped.

It is possible in both Az & µt clients.

It explains, to me at least, why some torrents always have 100's of seeders so quickly.

I'll report any progress if any here next week.

i have 10 invites btw, haven't given any to anyone.

downloaded the wombles yesterday (1.4gigs) because I thought it was the free download of the week.

for anyone having trouble with their ratio on the box, all the olympic torrents will be a godsend.

i have seeded about 5 gigs of olympic stuff since Saturday and some of it is even worth watching.

should have a huge upload buffer by the end of the games.

Some of the Mpeg-4 files are h264 encoded .

If you are experiencing stuttering try this :-

Preferences -> (tab)
Input / Codecs -> (tab)
Other codecs -> FFmpeg -> (tick "Advanced options" box) in the drop-list next to "Skip the loop filter for H.264 decoding" select "All",
save and restart VLC.

they put you on ratio watch and give you time to sort it out as a rule.

were you using cheat software?

Downloaded about 5G off "the box" but the ration is crap less than 0.15, so if I want to stay on I guess I better contribute, no way its going to get near 1 at the current rate,

I've upped 20 gigs since the start of the olympics but have hardly watched any of them.

mind you, i think they don't allow you to download the frees if you are on ratio watch.

to be honest, i'd happily stump up the 400 odd baht it costs you in donation if i found myself in ratio shit.
much better than 1500 to UBC every month.

I've downloaded 170 odd gigs from the box and upped about 210.

I use it a lot and depend on it quite heavily.

just checked the donate options.

10 dollars (350 baht) gets you 12 gig upload credit.
20 dollars is 35 gigs.

that's what I'd do, but I do use it a lot in the absence of that shitty UBC thing that I overpaid for for far too many years.
