Appreciate the consideration. Haven't had liquid sugar baked beans since I was a kid and at a friend's house for dinner. It appears homeless people love them around here. Cheap and they have pull up tabs now so you don't even need a can opener.

    Lamb looked delicious BTW.

Oh an I am not a religious guy so I will never be offended on any day.

^ That's ok, I'm used to this stuff now.

Anyway, to get back on track... we had an early dinner at lunchtime today.

To be honest the pork chops were so lean that they were a bit dry. I know it's the healthy way, but you need a bit of fat for the flavour.

Pancetta peas as well, sans bacon.

That looks lovely too. Mrs Dillinger and Mendy winning today.

I sent the missus out for some beer before - she wants to see the Autumn leaves so why not kill 2 birds with one stone - and she has just returned with a lamb vindaloo and a bagful of naans!

And not Chitty's type of nan either!

    Result!

Not to be outdone today by the British contingent on here, I present through the Doors...

Dryair fried Ostrich fillet steaks with a sage and onion rub.
Accompanied by a mashed mountain of garlic Maris Piper and Jersey Royal potatoes volcano of Bisto gravy.
With a Jenga tower of green beans.

Let's see if our cousins across the pond can beat today's British culinary cuisine!!

    The neck on you.

Some things in life are indisputable.

Manchester United are the greatest football club in the world.

    Snubby eats terrible pizzas.

Indian is the 2nd best food in the world.

    And photographs really well.

Am I right or am I right?

I did mention its less than photo favourable qualities.

Look at that mound of chapatis though (I thought it was gonna be naan)!

What am I gonna do with all them?

Their salmon trimings are good value. Use them in a spicy salmon salad, but you have to soak them in water to get rid of some of the salt

I remember the first time someone showed me a bag of giddyup.

He said "Do yourself one out of that"

So I made this one huge line that sprawled the whole of the cistern

    He weren't happy
