Doug Harrison of Bourbon St. is a long time survivor. He saw the end of Washington Sq. his original location coming and moved upscale. It damn well worked. He built up the new location while phasing out the old. Lost his niche hotel there as well, but the new joint has flourished. More than 30 years the guy has been putting out great Cajun food, and also a nice Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner... Along with his great breakfasts.
