Good stuff thank you both!
I think TFP told me about a place too, I'll check with him.
Been busy today and don't know what to have for dinner.
Will it be this...
Or this...
The pie the pie the pie the pie the pie!!!
Can't green you yet....
Easy. A piece of pie on its own as a starter, then the chillie for the main meal.
They both looks wonderful as always Charley.
Jizzy. Bet ya thunk I'd only made one!
Now your just teasing...!!!
Pastry looks good Charlie ,, a point deducted for being tight on the egg wash on the big pie though
I'm guessing Charley's not the petitest of guys
Fuck all you and your square plate hate.
First time I've ever mashed parsnips, very nice. Lemon and butter sauce was from a packet I'm afraid, I'm a busy man. (That and I haven't got a fucking clue how to make sauces)
Have you never had neeps with your haggis? Mashed carrots and parsnips.
In fact, i finished off my two slices of haggis with mashed tatties tonight. No, parsnips to be found.
You should try the mix of carrots and parsnips mashed (without the haggis), very tasty.

I will, it sounds good. I've always mashed swede and carrots together with butter and pepper, but never though about parsnips for some reason.Originally Posted by patsycat
Now my body is a temple since joining the gym I would deffo take the fish and veg over the pies.
God I miss spuds
Which ladyboy gave up her best for the pie casings (tops), CB?
Arbers, I'm greening you for the sauce. Sounds delicious.
On the other hand, I'm redding you for the parsnips. Last time I looked they were ridiculously priced over here!
Patsy. Mashed carrots and swede, pepper and a knob of butter.
Never knew what a parsnip was, when I was a kid.
