Thia weekend is / was the Canadian Thanksgiving. I am in Canada for it for the first time since 2003 and this is hubby's first time in Canada. We had an amazing turkey dinner, fully decked out. Leftovers are on tonight's menu along with some ravioli.

    Tom

Mashed squash, stuffing and gravy without mushrooms, peas, corn and asparagus

    Homemeade cranberry sauce

555, the saucepans are on the stove. It's my mom's sleek new kitchen, which we all love. The countertop is quartz. That's the island.

Nige no ones interested in those 30 baht dishes from soi 38
That turkey feast of Natalies had me drooling.
Anyone in Bangkok on here who fancies a Turkey for Xmas, get in touch with Bunters. I was talking to a guy the other night who was raving about his Xmas dinner from last year.

They will deliver the turkey to your door, its all cut and wrapped around stuffing too, they do some beautiful ham you cant get in Thailand he reckoned also.

He was telling me, everyone had different jobs to do, ie get booze, turkey, stupid party hats etc and it cost only 200 baht a head.

Oh, i had turkey last Sunday in the Grand Millenium on Suk soi 21, its 1400 baht a head, or iftheres 4 of you,2 eat for free. It starts at 12pm and finishes at 3pm, all the wine and booze is free too, you get a ccess to a carvery, tapas bar, cheese bar, sushi bar, salad bar, the hoi sin pancakes etc etc. Theres a little kids play area there too.
Lovely jubbly, you might wanna book in afvance, it gets busy

Picked up some pure white, square, deep pan plates today. They actually look good in real life but highly questionable in photos.

    Stage 1:

    Stage 2:

Thick pork chops marinated in a dash of Roza black pepper sauce, paprika, chili, garlic salt, rosemary and thyme, then pan fried.

    And don't forget yer Bisto.

As my dear little wife is doing one of her 13 hour days today and will have her dinner at work I cannot be arsed to cook a meal for one so I knocked this little number up , quick and easy fresh prawns ( pfffft ) microwaved spud + cheese topping + bit of cucumber ,, bit sad really , hope normal service will be resumed soon

I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Prawns look like brain. Eggs look like gonads and the baked potato buttocks.

Is that low fat mayo Nige? Or are you consolling yourself re Jan's absence from the kitchen?

I remember Helmans used to do a wonderful line in Mediterranean style mayo. Does it still exist? If so I'm gonna get on the blower with mummy and tell her to include some in my pending food package. 2 weeks encounting before I get ridiculously fucking fat.

They had a special offer that the pizza was 199 baht... well so I thought.

I ordered online and by the time I got to the checkout it had reached 250 ish with tax and delivery. Then went to click ok and it flashed up minimum online order 300 baht. Hence the soup.

So my special offer 199b pizza cost me closer to 400!

Anyway I enjoyed it and along with a beer helped the hangover.

    That's the main thing.

They used to have nice pizzas on their promotions and not ones with egg on it. TBH I find Scoozi a bit over rated as lots of people rave about them...

That said... I do miss being inside of their and chefxp's delivery zone.

Chefxp won't deliver to me. I emailed a few times with no reply.

Foodbyphone will but at 120 baht and 1hr30min delivery time.

Scoozi is at the entrance to my moo baan, literally 5 minutes from my sofa but I still ordered online. I couldn't face the horrible scary outside world today
