Japanese mayo balances/goes well with the Tuna...
    Japanese mayo is the best.

Did you include a quote? If so, you may have typed inside the quoted area instead of outside it. The forum would then think there was no reply at all.

    Murgh makhani (Indian butter chicken).

I marinated the chicken tandoori style overnight, but I forgot to dice it, so I ended up with semi marinated chicken when I took it out of the oven and eventually got round to cutting it and sitting it with the other ingredients.

Anyway, after about 30 minutes in the pan things start to get a bit tricky and it's time to blend and sieve your curry to separaate the skins and seeds etc.

Home straight now though and more butter is added to temper the remaining spices before adding the blended sauce, yoghurt (or cream) and the (part) tandoori chicken pieces.

Garnish with the coriander and cream or yoghurt and get to work on a few chapatis to accompany it with.

34 degrees here!! Medly of salads this evening -

    tomato/mozzarella/basil
    avocado
    green salad
    some ham
    some extremely runny camembert

lovely fresh bread to mop up the sauce.

    And some Kangaroo Chardonnay.

Now i have to leave my fan and head out in the heat to buy it all!!

Tomorrow it's melon and parma ham. Love that. I took one to Edinburgh last summer, my suitcase smelt lovely and melonny for ages afterwards. Thank god the thing didn't explode!!

Very popular. my mum and dad bought some years ago in Greece. on one of those cruises. I prefer the Kenyan bark ones. With the little stick people sewn on them.

But the Greek or Italian ones are ok. Who uses coasters? With a box of them, I suppose i may have to... shite, clearing out your dead parent's home is not much fun. And the plates and cutlery and tea services....

The Waterford crystal is mine all mine.

I'm doing this all over the phone with my sister. Quite upsetting. And she has to go through everything. We don't like going through private stuff. Like she never existed.

Lots of forgotten piccies hve been found - me as a baby with a mop of red hair!! Interesting.. Now, with the regrowth from chemo it is dark brown. Modern Science - amazing!! I may have to Goggle...

Just sold my old farmhouse pine dining table after sanding all the stains off from people not using coasters and place mats.

The replacement is valued at around £2000 so coasters and mats are a permanent feature on it now.

That's an Italian marble hand made dining table, personally I wouldn't use mats and coasters as I'm sure nothing going to damage it but the wife insists and she's the boss so who am I to argue.

My village pub finally reopened after being shut for best part of a year which has been a pain in the ass as it has resulted I me having a 25 minute walk for a beer. Anyway wasn't really hungry yesterday evening but thought better get something to soak the beer up, so the sharing platter it was.

Looks alright that. Although I'd have gone for some pork scratchings and a packet of salt n vinegar before hammering the kebab house on the way home.

Now my local pub reopened which is only a few minutes walk away, no more kebabs after 10 pints of beer as local kebab house also a good 25 minute walk.

    Those are rather feminine hands.

Not sure about the frilly blouse either, but as you probably know, English public (ie private ) schools and all that...
