I make a point of getting one every time I go back home. Beetroot in general really, I love it.
Murgh makhani (butter chicken) tomorrow. Just made the marinade for the chicken to sleep in overnight. The gaff smells great already...
As for the beetroot on a burger stuff. Fuck that. Beetroot on anything is wrong. There was a pickling factory where I used to go fishing as a kid oop norf and the smell of the stuff followed by seeing it carted out for people to actually eat was enough to put me off it for life.
I thought things had reached a nadir with the antipodeans when Dickie was smothering mayonnaise on his pizza last week, but no, you're off again... :)
