When I was back in the UK for a week last month I escaped from the family in the south west and drove up to Brum to meet a mate of mine from HK who had moved back. We had a few beverages, and then went to ALL the lap dancing joints in Birmingham. The end result, both of us being asia expats for a number of years, was highly disappointing. We just couldn't understand the point of it all. We could, years ago, and recognised ourselves in the face of the young lads running out to find cash point machines, but these days we are more learned. Interesting point to make... in some of them the drinks are cheaper than in the wankie "trendy" bars of broad street.Quote:

So delish that the it got the sweet tooth going and the whole lot was finished off with a Cadbury's Caramel. :)

Odd enough Big C or Tesco about 6 months ago. Walked in and they had a display table with different types of ceramics and had those big, flat square plates, so bought two. Bit odd, but different. With the rims they're good for things like roasts that have lots of items and lots of gravy. Don't think I've seen them since though.Quote:
