He's still going strong as well!
^ Good news!
^^ I considered a comment along the lines of, 'if he is, he must be very small'.
But decided against it.
Hope you find your coat, mate!
I bet it's Baltic.
Ummm... you're half pished?
I did in fact batch cook a load of mince and tatties this week, I was about to post it up but then Chitty posted up his chilly and it put my mince beef to shame.
I did it with peas as well.
^ Three hours for a lasagne... try turning the oven up a bit?
Today it appeared that the wife had gone on strike... although to be fair it is very hard to tell.
My main clue was that the telly hadn't been on all day... when it's too strenuous and demanding to lie prone and watch Thai crap for the regulation 10 hours I know something is up.
And by mid afternoon there was nothing going on in the kitchen department so I had to take action... and took out one of my emergency steaks from the freezer.
Once I finished up tonight I rustled this up in moments.
And yes, I am really pissed off that I resorted to the gardener's Ya Dong. I seem to either drink nothing, or once started lose control, and I ain't happy about it.

And for the 'steakies'... not too shabby I would say.

Earlier in he week I batch cooked a load of mince and tatties... well, the mince anyway.
I had a couple of meals out of it and froze the rest in bags.

The genius of this is that... add a tin of tomatoes and some tomato puree... and then some spaghetti... you have a spag bol. Add some mashed potato and you have a cottage pie.
The possibilities are endless, but I was happy with simple mince and tatties this week!

How utterly tiresome and joyless.
It's almost archaeology.
Is this the Guess The Poster thread? :)
Dang, beaten to it by chitty. :(
Me neither although it's on my bucket list.
I did see one hit by a car on a country road last week but it was too dangerous a corner to stop and collect it.
I've heard it's very "earthy" .
I'm always on the lookout for a fresh road kill in the countryside.
One day...
If Iwas close as you I'd have Sinday lunch here every week, some lovely views stipperstones old mines and Beeston Castle
