Tonight I have decided to go full on American!usaflag1
Visited a local butcher and purchased a 16 Ounce prime 30 day matured steak.
I've seasoned it to within an inch of its life wrapped it in clingfilm and left it to flavour in the fridge.

For all the naysayers on here who say I've never eaten a proper steak and have debatable culinary skills,well tonight is the night!:bananaman:

questionable cut/lump of steak (is it a tri tip? Or the off cut of a tenderloin?) No visible fat.l or marbling. only seasoned for two hours. Cooked to well done. Beans. Burnt, soggy chips. Mayo and dead horse on the steak.

Firstly that is a hunk of stew meat. Yep. You cube it and slow cook for a day so you can eat it without getting a cramp in your jaw from gnawing on it. You don't Fry it. Bet your dog couldn't even chew that.
Secondly nothing American about that meal at all so don't try and pawn it off as such. It's your meal and should be scrapped into the trash and discarded as hazardous waste..:)
With meals like that I understand why Hal thinks steaks are not that good.
