Chitty's bird had left her wheelchair outside.

Mandi with lamb, mandi with chicken, some Bedouin dish with lamb and macaroni that I can't pronounce, baba ganoush, baba ganoush with tahini, tahini, tomato salad, pickles, a spicy tomato dip, fried aubergines with peppers, loads of aish, molokhia (not in shot)...all good apart from yet more plastic waste for the (non alcoholic) drinks.

Didn't think much of the taxi service though.
How you can contend that any sport has more 'pansies' than those fat clowns in panty hose, who play for about two minutes in every hour, is bemusing.
Ohh I believe you Hal. I can't argue that you prefer food substance on a plate smothered in some sauce watching a bunch of pooves run around kicking a ball for fun. :). We grew up with what we like to eat, played the sports we knew and enjoyed. You know my Mom used to try and cover up cheap cuts of meat or liver or whatever in sauces hoping we wouldn't notice but it didn't work and we wouldn't eat it.
As for steaks. Just stop. You have no clue on a properly cooked cut of beef. Each section of cow has to be cooked a certain way to achieve the best taste and tenderness. To take a Ribeye or a Filet /Tenderloin and cook it to well done, cover it with some cheap powdered boxed gravy mix sauce to hide it is simply criminal. So I suggest you stick with Kidney pies, paper thin sirloins and what other sides you enjoy and leave the proper steaking cooking to the professionals.. :smileylaughing:
Nonsense Hal.

Resting ( Notice the Au Jus Hal) no need for 2 1/2 cups of boxed gravy mix. Just natural flavorings :)

Wonderful dinner cooked to perfection. Tater with homemade Mushroom gravy, Italian spiced carrots and a medium rare beef tenderloin.
Hmmm. Lemme think about that. My dinner versus animal guts, cooked in a pastry tossed on a plate and covered with a sodium loaded gravy mix so everything floats..... :)
Just saying......
Green sent, but I still can't get my head around no sauce with it.
What about a chimichurri on the side at least?
We brought the leftovers home that I ate tonight.
I see Hals drunken weekend shit posts have been cleaned up. :)
Nothing has been deleted apart from one on Skiddy's thread, a thread which got deleted, as far as I'm aware. They're all still standing on here.
This weekend has mostly been spent celebrating on the football threads and talking about curry for breakfast elsewhere. :)
And a bit of fun on the NFL thread too, of course. :)
