I wonder what's sloppier right now, that watery pie or Mendy's clanker
    You'll appreciate my confusion?

    clanker

Droppings; Shit falling into the toilet and making a noise.
Oh man, I just dropped a fat clanker!

Where ya going? I gotta drop a clanker! Be right back!

Where's Dan? He's in the bathroom droppin' a clanker!

I left a few floating clankers in there for ya!

    Ben enjoyed eating Dan's clankers.

It was a delicious Shepherd's pie and the 'Dan' above came from the internet, nothing to do with my much missed, passed on dog.

Cook the mince a bit longer to evaporate the liquid.

Maybe just drain the mince first

After Armstrong's Chili baked potato post It sounded good.

Prepped big tater with Olive oil, salt and Pepper. Had a tin of Dennison's Chili Con Carne with beans left from last US trip and a brick of Tillamook Extra Sharp Cheddar cheese. An old fashion was in hand during the Q process.

    Tater done and ready

Tater ready for the Chili and cheese

Heated up the Chili on the Q side burner.

Melted the cheese on the Q

Tater as served with a nice La Chouffe blond beer

A nice chili that will get my green light for beans.

I have some Habaneros from my garden I need to use up. Maybe I will do a fire hot chili now that the rains have come.

I was on the verge of giving up on this thread after all the abuse I've received... but then I saw Reg Dungle's chicken curry with 'added' sultanas. FFS... who adds sultanas? I pick the disgusting things out of my curries and feed 'em to the chickens.

Anyway, something I've never attempted before... spicy chloritzo sausages in an Italian tomatoey sauce. The initial plan was to serve on a bed of linguini but a last minute change of tack resulted in sides of mashed potato and garden peas.

I'm expecting a solid 9 out of 10 from Chitty and if Reg Dingle mentions the word 'watery' then he's off my Christmas card list. Stumpy has already asked for the recipe, just so you know.

Havent seen sultanas in curry for years.

I used to take curry rice packs when I went on camping trips and add a tin of tuna after cooking.

But always remember to pick out the sultanas before adding the tuna as it is more difficult with the tuna adding to the confusion.

Tonight at dusk it looked like the arrival in Close Encounters...

    Dinner-img_20221029_203012-jpg

But it was actually the arrival of Senorita Surabaya

    Dinner-img_20221029_203339-jpg

Bearing gifts of an emergency KFC food drop

    Dinner-img_20221029_203922-jpg

Between the 2 of us we managed to sink half of it before waving the white flag despite the moreish peppery batter

    Dinner-img_20221029_204613-jpg

But an hour later we mysteriously had room for chocolate mudcake

That is a mystery, Looper. My suspicion would be bulimia.

But anyway, if you still have that half of the KFC emergency pack left, please send Senorita Surabaya over here with the remainder. I'm bloody starving after my spicy sausage rubbish and I don't mind leftovers.

Sultanas in curry reminds me of school dinners.

This whole page of dinners should be in the drunk food thread you heathen savages.

Even JP has let the side down with cheesy beans on a spud and got Snubbles salivating over it.

This thread has gone to the dogs

Fvck it, if you can't beat them with a stick then join em..

    Marmite on toast fookers...

    Dinner-20221029_111430-jpg

Very sloppy and a solid 10 from me.

^Where did you pinch them from?

I think we're all gonna be saying 'I'd give it 15 minutes' when exiting the khazi tomorrow.

Last night's noodles were so good I went out and bought a couple more boxes today
Decided to continue the Mexican theme with one of Mendy's pilgrimage
travelodge staples and replicate JP's ringer tomorrow...

I'm not sure what TC's gonna pass out from, the Brit nails or the Brit cuisine.

Actually the Chili spud was quite good. Hadn't had one in years, but agree could have easily been posted in the drunk food thread.

Actually Dil, it wasn't spicy at all but did produce some horrific gas for which my wife said " Don't ever cook that again"

For those residents in the Land of Sweat who don’t see a lamb roast very often.

Well after last nights gut bomb chili cheese spud (which btw was delicious), I went healthy tonight. Did up a nice salad

    Fetta cheese with Italian seasonings
    Avocado
    Marinated artichoke hearts
    Onions
    Iceberg lettuce
    Roma tomatoes
    Sprinkle of bacon bits

Topped off with Bertolli red wine vinegar and Bertolli Olive oil

Thanks BB. The bacon bits I brought back from US. Picked up a few bags at Costco and broke them up when we got here, revacuum sealed and froze them. Works out really well and they last a long time.

On the Arichokes you located on Lazada I have purchased before. They are very good. Make sure to check them. They have 2 styles one is halved and in water and one halved in olive oil and Italian spices. I have seen them at Topps for around 275Bht. I am down to my last big Jar of Cara Mia marinated hearts from again Costco.
