Do you remember the people (usually old women near us) who used to come round the pubs selling pickled cockles, prawns etc? They had a basket full of that sort of stuff and pepperamis.Quote:

Steak came out well done, which is fairly standard here. It was surprisingly tender and well seasoned. It "Thai" style, it could have been a shade spicer for my tastes

Instead I made a nice Pepperoni Calzone, filled with tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, Peperoni , and Mozzarella.
I made the pizza dough last night and l Tomato sauce, 'cause I have nothing better to do LOL, and I let the dough stand in the refrigerator overnight to develop flavor. (recipe for pizza dough at YouTube)
