I had one egg on top of a fried rice with beef.

I'd have to risk the trip to the hospital/morgue and go for Mike's 5 eggs + cheese + bacon breakfast bucket.

Sausages are Manston's Pork & Leek, from Greens.

That was breakfast as I like it.

That might just be the best job I've ever done of frying an egg.

I remember Headworx used to insist that eggs fried in a covered pan with a shed load of butter was the way to go.

    In other words, French style.

Almost poached in butter rather than fried.

No for me - had an oeuf of that.

Decent that. Could do with some bacon though.

^^ almost impossible to get a runny yolk with the pan covered. That alone makes it a no for me.

That swill in the middle - just...no.

The bacon could come in handy if something goes awry with a Chiang Mai running sandal.

Great stuff Chitty. Not sure about beans and toms on one plate, but the full English really is the king of breakfasts.

    Where's the black pudding though?

I went to Vilnius recently and found a little Indian gaff run by an Indian fella predominantly for the plethora of Indian students there. I had a couple of cracking curries and on the last day stopped by to pick up a brunch of masala dosa and a Chettinad chicken curry.

I don't do dosas after 12, so it's definitely up there with my favourite breakfasts in the world.

British number 1, obviously, followed by Sarawak laksa, masala dosa, and Greek pastries and coffee fighting it out for 2nd place.

    I think that's called a normal portion.

Ruined the egg, and is that tinned tomatos on your plate?

A fantastic addition to the full English.

    But not with beans.

It has to be one or the other.

Why does Cy have chips with his breakfast?

With beans straight out of the can without being warmed it looks to me. Different strokes for different folks. Goes all the way back to crispy eggs for me.

Fresh tomatoes go on sandwiches with cheese and ham.

When the British speak about appropriate breakfast ingredients, the world needs to listen.

We won 2 world wars and 1 world cup on our breakfasts.

    You fry them, twit.

But start with fresh, not a can that's supposed to be for making spaghetti sauce.

    Let's ask ourselves a question.

Whose cuisine is famous and admired the world over?

    British or Italian?

Nice, you can get those sausages at Central Plaza in Korat and they also make a great sausage, egg and chips... with peas. The only problem I've found with buying frozen sausages in Thailand is that sometimes the fat has gone a bit stale tasting because they've been in the freezer for so long.

Some good products once one can stomach going out to Hang fudgin' Dong.

But talk about how not to run a shop for in-store customers. Different products thrown all over the place in the freezer. More various stock scattered under the freezer trays than on top of them. Most without prices. It would surely only take 15 minutes to clean, clear and arrange them properly.
