Wanted to eat Breakfast out on the way home from a grocery run, didn't want a fry-up, have seen this advertised at what's now widely regarded as the best French bakery in town. Great value for 199 Baht

^ I would like to throw some subtle insult with humour at that. But, it really does look nigh on perfect, and for 199 baht, I'd be going often if I lived in those parts...

I'd have that at twice the price.

^I'll be going back for that for sure and expect the price to increase as it's an introductory special this month, but will very happily pay whatever they're asking. The baguette is ridiculously good, this guy has got the bread market in many better restaurants around town sewn up. He's also doing made to order cakes and pastries for restaraunts that don't want to have a pastry chef on their payroll ay more. I really do enjoy seeing someone being good enough to open and within 6 months, be the benchmark. The only trap is, I can walk there from home in under 10 minutes

&, you're right - it's good to see a quality artiste working hard and getting on. Enough of crap food in good locations because they have enough money/connections to buy the best locations, and enough of the crap chains (although I do like a McD breakfast...) - a nice honest business offering quality food at a fair price is always great to see and should be supported. I got a hold of some Usinger's Liver Sausage and a pice of fried pig skin.

FFS Fish, stop posting yummy beckie stuff when i'm too pissed to cook, can't be bothered ordering and its fuking night time.....shheeeesh..

I would remove the salad and slide the pigskin in there.

That's an idea. It would have a whole new crunch then.

Monday morning - - No work today, so I had scrambled eggs for breakfast.

^ the scrambled egg looks fine, and the other bits 'n pieces look really good.

Oh boy that reminds me. Its only 6 weeks till the Mission district Cafe Central and huevos rancheros for breakfast. Oh yeah!!

Breakfast burrito. Bacon, eggs, spuds, Mexican style stuff, garnished with the pubes of Salma Hayek.
