Pork chops, fried up with a bit of brown sugar for caramelisation, black pepper and some mixed herbs for good measure. With some garlic bread and assorted veggies on the side. Cost about B80 for fresh ingredients. And done in about 15 mins.
Yummy Yummy
Sounds lovely, Bob.
I had sticky rice with a concoction of chopped chicken, chillie and other ingredients, prepared by the missus. It turned out yellow for reasons unknown to myself and was right at the edge of what I could eat in terms of 'spicyness', as most times when I am to lazy to cook myself.

Barramundi and yogurt.
Not together.
Close to me Bob.
I marinated some chops from 8am in come carmelized onions, olive oil, garlic and a little mushroom soy. This was sauteed and then slow cooked for 15 minutes.
The chops were marinated in that sauce for about 10 hours.
Potato salad, Potatoes, onion, green onion, bell pepper, egg, and carrot all mixed up with my special spices a bit of extra virgin olive oil, and plain old American mayonaise.
Boil the eggs and potatoes until done cool, and then mix with all the veggies.
You can roast off the skin of the red or green bell pepper as well. It takes another 20 minutes or so but you can do it ahead of time.
It was good, even the maids and grandma loved it, the wife comes home late today.

Leftovers from last nights home made spag bol,
I usually make far too much for one so i end up eating it over two or three nights.
Have to cook tomorrow not yet sure what it will be
Cheeseburger - Lotteria.
I know it's bad, but I have about 2 hours to surf the net and drink 2 or 3 beers before bed, because I am commuting to work tomorrow.
But I do love Asian food. And all other food, too.

A double pork noodles from the building site over the road.
Yummy.
Some of them deep fried fermented chicken wings with lots of fried garlic, my secret green sauce and sticky rice. expensive night. 45 baht.

Half a bottle of Lao-Kao, some sticky rice with pork soup and chicken curry. Not nice, to be honest, but I was invited.

Tonight was the excitement of a packet of noodles and a cold bacon sarnie with leftovers of this mornings bacon and eggs.
Why do they put flavours on the packets of noodles? They all taste the same to me- pretty shite
Start buying the ones where they put the flavours in the packet of noodles.
Speaking of which, they can be refined: a tin of sardines or dried shrimps go with anything 'seafood', random veges, chopped garlic and spring onions for the rest.
Experts, such as myself, also developed special recipes of homemade "Luk Chin" to add to instant noodle soups.
Here is one: Throw chopped Pork and Tofu 50/50, aubergine, Okra, onion and tomato in a blender, with some fish sauce, mayonaise and vinegar, and wrap the result in these yellow square sheets of ricepaper (?).
Deep-fry or boil with the noodles.

Yes I do add things to it normally fish sauce, maggie, some chillies and any spare veg i might have around ( no veggies around tonight)
But i do find that there is zero inherent flavour in the damm things
"Haing ko dai"
Gives that extra zzzing of monosodium-glutamate.
"maggie"? I think I figured out your nationality.
Nothing remains hidden for long in here.

I agree with the second sentence but not the first.Originally Posted by stroller
Well not that i dont think you think that you have figured out my nationality but i do think that you might well be wrong.
