Portabello Chicken with marsala sauce at Macaroni Grill. Rice pilaf and spinach salad. Excellent meal.
Afterwards, while watching the Angels lose to the Oakland As, I washed down the dinner with a new beer (for me) called Fat Tire. Had three. It's heavy and sorta chocolaty and now I feel like I ate the Goodyear Blimp.
Fat Tire, Love it! used to get it in Phoenix when ever I was here (work) it comes out of Colorado. Very heavy beer. Two or three were usualy my limit too.
Now available in California, Right on.
Had some 'farang food'.
Stewed mushrooms, liver and kidney served on mashed potatoes.
After that, rice-whiskey (yes, again) and chicken curry at a friend's after wrapping a white cotton string around his wrist for good luck.

Mediterranean seafood salad of deep sea king prawns, New Zealand mussels and Maine lobster pieces, cleansed away with a coconut sorbet then followed with proscuitto-wrapped pork medalions in a red wine jus over a bed of mushroom pasta gratin, all accompanied by a selection of Italian breads...delicious!
Unfortunately all washed down with some of the most over-priced yet foul-tasting wine I have ever endured...
