I had a superb spotted dick at one of the seafront cafes.

Much though I love Thai cooking you have to admit that getting a decent spotted dick is very difficult.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT EATING HERE NOT YOUR ESCAPADES WITH NO. 69 AT HOT LIPS AGOGO!!!

Portabello Chicken with marsala sauce at Macaroni Grill. Rice pilaf and spinach salad. Excellent meal.

Afterwards, while watching the Angels lose to the Oakland As, I washed down the dinner with a new beer (for me) called Fat Tire. Had three. It's heavy and sorta chocolaty and now I feel like I ate the Goodyear Blimp.

What is steaming for dinner tonight?

Yes, tonight I decided to go the veggie route. Sorta clearing out the pipes. Got some carrots, cabbage, tators, shrooms and some extras.

Let's take a look at how they are coming along.

    Had some 'farang food'.
Stewed mushrooms, liver and kidney served on mashed potatoes.
After that, rice-whiskey (yes, again) and chicken curry at a friend's after wrapping a white cotton string around his wrist for good luck.

Mediterranean seafood salad of deep sea king prawns, New Zealand mussels and Maine lobster pieces, cleansed away with a coconut sorbet then followed with proscuitto-wrapped pork medalions in a red wine jus over a bed of mushroom pasta gratin, all accompanied by a selection of Italian breads...delicious!

Unfortunately all washed down with some of the most over-priced yet foul-tasting wine I have ever endured...

That looks so damn good, home made blue cheese dressing. "Little is right when describing the pork. I will bring the spiced garlic bread the next time you make it.
