Dry aged is good, and generally doesn’t need marbling. They’re likely to be 14 or 21days. Enjoy.
At that thickness 2 minutes each side & then rest 4 minutes will be a medium rare. You want the pan or grill as hot as you can possibly get it.

Fukkn hell, they think of everything these days!
Good draw away at Leeds today by the way, you must be pleased with that.
Wankers.
That Furlong header was a gem.![]()
I suspect the lack of update when he literally updates us on every aspect of his daily life, including toenail health is telling.
To be honest, the steaks didn't really make the cut and I didn't want to sully this fine thread with food that wasn't truly decadent.
I mean, how can you compete with bread rolls filled with cheese...
All toenails doing very well at the moment, if you're interested.

I assume they are the Nigerian heritage
I wouldn't be surprised. I have pretty big toenails.
We're all Africans even the ancient Brits were as dark as a choctop apparently.
Cheddar Man had dark brown skin, black hair and blue-green eyes. He wasn't an anomaly: this is how the first Britons looked. About 6,000
I feel a bit coerced into making this post.
Any criticism and that's for me and this this thread.
So how decadent is two tomatoes then?
I would have to say that the fried eggs let this meal down. They were far from decadent.
The chips were the best I've ever made and I really think I've got the hang of them now. Cooked for less time on high heat from frozen and the insides are nice and soft while the outsides are nice and crunchy.

looks to me like you didn't have the pan hot enough, oil the steak and salt, really hot pan and 2 mins a side, i'd add a knob of butter once you turn it the first time
Butter burns.
Add after the pan is turned off.
How the heck do you mess up fried eggs? Did you drop them on the floor?
The steak looks kinda ok, why were you not happy with them?
