The Crockpot/slow cooking thread.

Cheers for the tips chaps, together we can crack this crockpot craic.

After some liquid refreshment and inspiration, I've decided to rip up the slow cook recipe rule book !

I am not only ripping it up, I'm going to lay a steaming log upon its shredded fragments!

In my moments of clarity, pure genius is released from the crackpot haze.

Tonight I present to you "Chittys Fusion East meets West Beef in Black bean sauce with Jamaican Sweet potato"

A step by step guide so you can recreate this culinary experiment and experience.

Fist the beef brown, chop and delicately place open a bed of cherry tomatoes..

Layer upon layer of vision and goodness!
Next up the onion , garlic and sweet potato..

Then we add the sloppy black bean sauce and beef stock..

Bang on high for an hour then stir the pot.

Leave on low overnight and pray that Hells Kitchen doesn't explode in the wee small hours.

Right then,oops what about dinner tonight...

Its akin to conquering Everest for the first time or walking on the moon!!
One day a decent meal will emerge from my kitchen!!
