I have never eaten them and won't BLD. The effort I see it takes to get what little meat is on them seems silly. Like eating bags of sunflower seeds. When we go to the states my wife gets together with 2 of her long time Vietnamese GF's and they go to this restaurant that specializes in them and they go eat hundreds of the things.

I concur. Stumpy is correct though those damn chicken feet aren't worth the hassle I guess it comes from growing up poor? For most of them? All that bug eating must be fucking time consuming to but maybe that's the attraction? Sit around in the hut on the floor eating bugs, cracking sunflower seeds, not a care in the world, plenty of time. Damn who's got it right and who's got it wrong. I will take the grilled steak everytime . Hmm,something g to ponder

This one is more hoppy, but without the citrus. An Indonesian Pale Ale (IPA)

Ordered a couple of kgs of sirloin.

add a dry rub and rest.

The BBQing, Grillin, Smoking Mega Thread-img_8439-jpeg

    A few minutes each side.

The BBQing, Grillin, Smoking Mega Thread-img_8440-jpegThe BBQing, Grillin, Smoking Mega Thread-img_8441-jpeg

Because the meat is fatty, it will flare up.

Serve with veggies and chimichurri sauce.

    That looks decent that.

Not sure the steak has been burnt enough for our American friends though.

Green owed. You even added a salad. I’m guessing that wasn’t your BBQ?

BBQ’d pork belly. Slightly too charred in the middle. The dog got those bits.

Haven't been adding to this thread even though I grill two or 3 times a week.

Pulled out a 75 day dry aged Porterhouse for lunch.

Tater and mushrooms on the grill when the steak hit the grill.

    Steak resting.

Got the game on. an Ice cold IPA and lunch is served

    Ahhhh Yes.
