TBH, I haven't followed the intense and, at times, testy debate, so ...
For me, if it's flat, sliced bread ... it's a sandwich.
If it's a roll, but the meat isn't hot, as in a ham and salad roll ... it's a roll.
If it's a roll/bun and the meat is hot ... it's usually a burger.

I had some Thai Green Curry wraps on a flight once and they were delicious.
I've just had a couple of burger presses delivered, one just for patties and another for filled patties. I guess we will start experimenting soon.
We get some pretty good burgers at good prices already, so they will be hard to beat on both counts, but we sell a lot of burgers so we can give a choice of patties and mix it up a bit, subject to availability, without having to keep up with demand.
I'm new to this thread, in at page 25. Have we had the debate about how the lettuce is supposed to be on the bottom yet?
