Not at all at the moment. There seems to be a lessening of traffic on Phuket at the moment, possibly due to a drop in visitor numbers due to the flight situation. No rationing of fuel, though that's happening in other provinces I believe. On a side note, some of the war happenings bring back memories. In 1971 I was part of a Royal Marine detachment on a frigate in the Persian Gulf (called that at the time), based out of Bahrain at Jufair. We visited Kharg Island where BP had an operation, and had a run ashore at their expat club. The Iranians had a military hovercraft base there.
Fast forward quite a few years, and I was the Field Logistics Superintendent for Qatargas, based in Doha. I was involved in the offshore operations for the North Field. The shore base and supply ships operated out of Ras Laffan port where the world's largest gas terminal was being built. A village (more like town) was being created there for all the staff, including those based in Doha, and I resigned and left when it became time for me to move there. Good three years there though.
It appears that the two entities, Qatar General Petroleum Company and Qatargas, have since rolled into one to form Qatar Energy.

Red kite with sausage roll snapped by Banbury photographer
British food is so good that even wildlife fly down for it.
It doesn't look like a Greggs sausage roll though.
