Had a small amount of uncooked short crust pastry left over from a quiche the other day. I'd put it in the freezer until I had some inspiration, which fell upon me this morning. Looking at what was in our cupboards and fridge, went for a couple of simple English Egg Custard tarts. Just enough pastry for two, which will be had cold with our afternoon coffee.
