Why not? I used hairy as in like an ape i.e. you.
Then I was looking for a word that had the "i" and "r" in the right places and settled on weird just like you.

So technically maybe not so much as inspiration but definitely confirmation. But I liked using inspired me in my reply because of the correct answer.

Maybe this reasoning is all a bit too deep for you as you have not yet evolved from an ape.
