Willie it was treat. I don't really have "starter" words that I use regularly. However I try to use a word that has at least 2 vowels. If there is a double letter and it is only used once then 2 spots have been eliminated.
I once read online that some guy did lots of work trying to identify the best starter word and his conclusion was "aries". However that is not on the Wordle list so sometimes I use raise followed by shout if the "s" is correct if its not then I use cloud.
The main problem starting that way it it almost always results in a 4 or 5 goes to get to the solution.
