Farringdon?
Farringdon?
Farringdon does not constitute a stop on the London Underground and according to the Smithers Amendment of 1956 you now incur a penalty by missing two turns.
Baker Street.
Well the train used to stop for me there quite a lot!
Farringdon just next to the Barbican but yuou can then move to Baker Street.
Canons Park
Stockwell.
Unless you're an innocent Brazillian, minding your own business - in which case you might want to avoid that one & take a bus instead.
^^ sometimes I feel that's the way a lot Thai's see us.
You guys be careful getting on and off the Sky Train
Stockwell. hmmmmmm......tricky one
Brixton
^ Skytrain extension is not complete and air travel breaks Hodges Law
^ I was invoking Metloff's 'Pause Gambit' "Where a station is currently closed for repair or maintenance, the next player is required to delay his move until the said station is reopened"
Travel via an airline such as Biman (Bangladesh carrier) is considered to be a journey through hell and thus regarded as a valid underground journey.
Play should therefore resume sometime in 2008.
Lord, deliver us from e-mail.
OK, bumping this one. But I think, since I'm the one bumping it, that I get to choose which variation of the rules we're playing.
Hmmm, I think the 1964 Euston abridged rules should apply - particularly subsection B para (a) A classic version of the game, I'm sure you'll agree.
OK, I'll play it safe for now...
Chancery Lane
Fairlop
Hmmm, interesting & rather risky gambit. I think I'll counter it by going to...
Angel
Merde Street
Pardon my intrusion, but considering that the London Oval station is between Stockwell and Kennington and was 'recently' refurbished in the 1920s I'd have to say that a detour to a neutral venue is called for.
Did we say that we were playing by the rules of that infamous LSD laced game of 1968?Originally Posted by Fuzzy Bob

Yes, Dug, I can sense your growing discomfort with the idea of a neutral venue. Gentlemen, if you will, may I suggest Highbury and Islington?
No really, what the HELL is this all about? Obviously a game of some kind but WHAT kind??
Bank.
I'm going to invoke the Hailsbury Switch reworking of the Mansfield Variation (1963 et Sub) and say Down Street.
Cheeky good2bhappy. You think a quick slide to Cannon St and then on to London Bridge would derail us, but you're wrong wrong wrong.
Put Blackfriars in your pipe and smoke it.
Gulp! erm...excuse me! This is an exciting development.Down Street
