Thailand : Laotian girl cut in half by speeding Porsche

Laotian girl cut in half by speeding Porsche

Pathum Thani - A 17-year-old Laotian girl was cut in half by a speeding Porsche car when crossed the road here Friday afternoon.

Police quoted a witness as saying that the girl, who was a worker of a foods shop, was crossing the road back from a noodle shop where she bough her lunch when she was hit.

The accident happened at 2:30 pm on the Pathum Thani-Bang Bua Thong Road in front of Parichart Housing Estate in Muang district.

Initially, only the lower half of her body was found in the dish in the middle of the road.

Later on, her upper half was found on the seat near the driver seat in the car, which was left about 10 kilometres from the scene. It crashed through the windshield and landed on the seat.

Police said the car has been stolen and the driver was fleeing.

Where was the car stolen from? Witnesses? CCTV? Keys left in the ignition were they? Or did a couple of low rent somchais succeed in hot wiring a Porsche - as if. If stolen to order why was it speeding so blatantly?

    This stinks.

Being involved in a hit/run accident then reporting the car stolen was a common trick used by the uninsured unlicensed illegal aliens in California.

Sadly in Laos, whoever owns a Porsche also owns a few politicians, so no one is likely to investigate the truth.

Hopefully either way (stolen or not) the police will catch the garbage that did this.

Someone should - as I suspect it's just his own ar$e that the driver was worried about.

She's Lao so they won't bother, and the owner of the porsche is probably Thai Chinese.

    Nuff said.

    How very sad.

Like others have said before it's highly doubtfull the Porche was stolen.
I hope this scumbag of a driver (whether charged or not) has nightmares for the rest of his/her useless life.

Fuck, these cowards make me so angry.

Is it? Does car theft not exist here then?

^yes it does, but these kunts are not capable of hot wiring a Porsche, I have owned 2 in my life and let me tell you the only way you could steel my car was to lift it onto the back of a truck

Yeah I imagine it would be fairly easy for the police to discover the truth if they investigate properly.

The car could have been stolen from a house with the keys so the difficulty to hot wire is not the only factor.

It's a rare event to see a Porsche, or any similar show-off car in Thailand that does not have red show off plates on it.

Really, at least 3/4 of the Porsches or Italian roadsters I see have red plates on them apparently permanently.

^ This looked so new it was either straight out of a showroom, or had just been washed, waxed and polished. Only saw it for a few seconds, so couldn't determine the exact model of 911.
