Iranian Tourist accused of murdering a Thai Woman in his South Pattaya hotel room

An Iranian Tourist has been arrested and charged with murder after a Thai Woman was found dead in his Hotel Room.

Late on Sunday Night, Pattaya City Security Officers found an Iranian Tourist who appeared intoxicated on Walking Street and offered to take him back to his Hotel.

They arrived at the Pattaya Hill Resort in South Pattaya and the man, later named as Mr. Saeed Dehghan aged 30, collapsed close to the front entrance.

He was then taken to his 4th floor room where the body of Khun Saifon aged 21 was found on the floor, next to the bed.

She was fully clothed and appeared to have marks around her neck consistent with strangulation.

Mr. Dehghan, who was still unconscious was arrested and taken to Hospital under Police escort, after Police Colonel Nantawoot, the Pattaya Police Chief arrived and determined he was the prime suspect in the woman’s apparent murder.

Staff at the hotel did mentioned that earlier in the night the pair were heard fighting inside the room.

Police are now waiting for Mr. Dehghan to recover enough so he can be interviewed.

Allot if the girls in Pattaya won't even go with Iranian men. Thats understandable.

I'm sure he'll be given the warm prison welcome he deserves. He won't last long in a Thai jail with a crime like that under his belt.

He's lucky he didn't commit this crime in England, it would be weeks before he finished his community service order.

many of the clubs in japan have signs on the door "NO IRANIANS"

they have a bad reputation for groping girls and/or drugging their drinks.

From what I am told, there is very little rape or reprisal for any crimes in Thai prisons. Most violence is over gambling debts. Plenty of chutney ferrets in Thai jails so no reason to rape anyone.

^ Legalizing prostitution would help alleviate this. Women can work in safe houses.
I once got stuck in Pattaya fro a week at some mid range hotel- nothing but middle eastern men and their prostitutes.
