The blame for the pics lies in who was at the immediate discovery. Whoever was snapping pics with their personal phone is a douche. Once they get online, it's too late. They will always be one or 2 links away.
I dont want or care to see it. But i will admit its sometimes hard to resist getting pulled in. I've seen some pics of similar cases.
Yeah, pretty obvious isn't it.
Reminds me of wilsonandson.
The taking of graphic pictures of the deceased " in situ " is a familiar tool of reportage here in Asia. The photographs are taken by witnesses, official and otherwise, who then sell them to news outlets. Whether or not they are then uploaded elsewhere and published through links is simply a matter of inclination.
Those of us living here know this is common practice, distasteful and insensitive though it may be, but it does reflect the culture of the East which treats death as merely a transition of life from one husk to another and the body is nothing more than a worthless shell of no significance.
People in the West whose children use the East as a playground should perhaps be made more aware of these facts rather than proselytise their social conventions that have no currency here.

^ That is true. I was using the western mindset. In the west , not very many pictures of crime victims/death end up circulating in media. But when its victims in SE Asia, there's almost always pictures.
I was just reading through threads of previous cases like the 2 girls who OD'd on Phi Phi island. There were links to pictures. Then there was the infamous murders a few years ago, was Phi Phi too. And there was pics of that. And yeah. Its because people are casually taking pics of them. I just thought someone snuck off a shot on their phone.
You almost expect it from the retarded chimps that masquerade as a police force in these countries. But one of them was an "instagram influencer", a US mother with 1.9 million followers or something.
"One image was shared on Instagram by a US based pathologist Nicole Angemi, who shares graphic posts of disease ridden organs, gory wounds and corpses for her 1.9 million followers."
Oxygen thief.
With that number of followers she must be deriving a revenue stream from advertising. Making good money from dead flesh strikes me as good capitalism of the very best sort and probably more ethical than the usual American practice of extorting billions from the living under the guise of medical services provided through exorbitant insurance policies with stupendous exclusions and excess payments.
Another place you wouldn't expect to be that vulnerable. There are nutters everywhere.

No more news eh ? so she was just swimming >?
Usually the most obvious and likely cause is just the way it is.
If it happens in Thailand the worst scenario is always thought, and rightly so, but accidents happen everywhere.
It's obvious.
He's disappointed.
Wanted something more gruesome.
It is pretty gruesome. The poor girl must have spent that last part of her life absolutely terrified.
we've been through this 2 pages ago !
Yes , I find these cases interesting. Partly because I did some stupid things backpacking myself. I was blacked out drunk at a Koh samui full moon party. It was the last time ive ever been black out drunk. i had pics with people i met who i never actually met because i was blacked out.
I still do not believe the autopsy report completely and would prefer another by a Home Office forensic pathologist. Problem of course is that the passage of time coupled with the long term immersion would militate against its efficacy.
