SARABURI, 6th October 2018 (NNT) - Yesterday the police in Saraburi arrested more than one hundred motorbike racers of both sexes who were racing on a bypass road, and annoying the local residents.
The police held the 108 young motorbike racers in custody together with 80 motorbikes to register criminal records and report their behavior to their parents. Then the bikers paid their fines and returned home.
They were also told to have the modified parts of the bikes changed back to the original standard before they can be ridden again.
By questioning a female teenager in secondary school, it was found that the motorbike racing group has been making appointments to race at night and on weekends.
While the police were taking the bikes to the police station, a group of racers who are friends of the youths in custody also came out on bikes to shout at the police aggressively.
