A school director in Bua Yai district of Nakhon Ratchasima has been transferred out of the school and a fact-finding committee was set up to investigation allegations that he had an affairs with a high-school female student at the school.

Mr Sanong Soodsa-ard, director of Region 5 Primary Education Office based in Nakhon Ratchasima, said on Wednesday that he had ordered the school director in question to be transferred to his office pending an investigation which is expected to be concluded in a week. He hinted that if the allegations were proven to be substantiated, the director might be dismissed for gross disciplinary violation.

According to the allegations, the school director had been in regular contact with the Matthayom 2 student in his school through Line application and the two had an affair. The same school director was earlier faulted for having committed an indecent act with a Pathom 6 student at another school and was disciplined with his salary cut by 5 percent for two months after the student’s parents entered into a compromise deal with the director. He was later transferred to the current school in Bua Yai district.

Meanwhile, Pol Col Karom Boonsod, the superintendent of Bua Yai district police, said a police team had been formed to investigate the case against the school director to determine whether a charge of taking a minor from the care of her parents could be filed against him.
