In fact I had a good experience just last week when a clown ran into me with his motorcy, several cops turned up and we all went down to the station, all got sorted out with no problems, no money asked for and none offered.
As for education well it is supposed to be free but that does not cover several sets of school uniforms and all the other extras that have to be paid for, getting kids an education of any sort is not cheap. I know for we have 2 school age kids in our household.
Indeed, and adeptly stated by same (perpetually present on the forum) "genius", who accuses me of posting utter nonsense! Ha!Originally Posted by cyrille

Education IS free and compulsory. The uniforms etc have to be bought. But in saying that if certain children's parents are too poor assistance will be provided. Due to the fact the teachers live within the village community it is known by the teachers who fit into the criteria.Originally Posted by birding

That bloke also looks as dodgy as fuck.
Just nasty and arrogant in that first photo on the right.
I'd trust him as far as I could throw him.
But OK ... if you need 'feel good' story...
You're a bit drunk, bored with your life and looking for a random argument, aren't you.
You haven't really followed the thread...it's a bit complicated for your kangol covered spammy encapsulated cranium.
White noise
^^Oh Bravo.
No really...well done.
Oh and the stoner rabbit from magic roundabout has roused himself too.
I think Thai police are great once when living in Bangkok and driving home pissed out my head was chucking down with rain and I got a flat so pulled over next thing a cop car pulls up behind me and I'm thinking I'm fucked here as on the highway and off my face. The copper changed my tyre in the pouring rain wouldn't take any money and sent me on my way when it must have been obvious to him I was bladderd.
Disclaimer - drink driving is bad and don't do it.
