Farmer boils dog ALIVE to make canine soup

HORRENDOUS footage of a farmer boiling a live dog to make a giant soup for a village party has left animal lovers in shock.

The dog was seen desperately trying to get out of the pot

The hideous act entailed the large canine flailing around in a wide iron cauldron-like dish filled with steaming water in China.

A man is seen poking the dog, which looks like a yellow Labrador cross, as he forces it back into the bubbling water while it yelps.

Every time the dog attempts to scramble out of the bowl the farmer pushes it back in.

The 10 second clip thankfully ends before the dog's fate is sealed, although it does not leave much to the imagination.

In China and many north Asian countries, dog hot pot is a delicacy, much to the upset of animal loving Westerners.

Most of the dogs are stolen pets and strays, an investigation last year by Hong Kong-based charity Animals Asia revealed.

The annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival causes an uproar every year as the Chinese authorities refuse to ban it, despite millions of people signing a petition.

Dr Li, who witnessed the horrendous scene, said: "This was one of the most harrowing visits I've ever made to Yulin.

"The dogs and cats I saw were visibly traumatised, their spirits broken from their terrifying ordeal.

"It's hard to imagine their mental suffering, watching other dogs being killed, disembowelled and dismembered in front of them.

How can people do that to animals (especially dogs) that have been so loyal to us humans over eons of time is beyond my comprehension.

Dogs have protected our families, kept us company, kept us warm, saved us from drowning, alerted us to danger, etc, etc.. a family dog will gladly die to protect its owner - they trust us and to do that to them is the worst possible betrayal imaginable.

I hope they choke on it - evil bastards.

Well for once I now hope that the US does go to war with China and wipe the entire country off the face of the earth. A little strong perhaps??

Industrial meat production is little better. The only major differences are that (i) the violence is inflicted on animals which, whilst every bit as intelligent and capable of suffering as dogs, we aren't interested in (ii) it goes on a vastly greater scale than individual acts of horror such as the OP and (iii) we have the good sense to organize our society in such a way that it's extremely easy to ignore the barbarism which we are daily involved in.

Here in Isaan, giants are happy with chicken or the occasional pig.

Same earlier in Korea, they torture the dog to death believing this releases emzimez into the meat, better for their stamina.

Had to walk out of one of these "parties" in the late 80's

Sad and all only about their little dicks

It's almost unbelievable that the Chinese are that inhumane that they prefer to watch the dog being tortured first before it dies during their culinary practices?

Hang on a minute,...yes they are!

Their penchant for eating live monkey brains comes to mind (no pun intended)

    Quite horrible

Tying a rope round a cat's neck and then slowly lowering it onto a fire so it went crazy thrashing around before expiring used to be a standard from of family entertainment for communities in towns and villages in medieval england and that was not even for the purposes of making soup but for pure spectacle.

    That was before cable TV.

The chinks are not different creatures to us they are just centuries behind the evolutionary curve of morality in some respects.

I clicked on this thread despite my better judgement last night. I saw that picture, which I have deliberately not seen today by literally closing my eyes and scrolling down.

My thoughts last night was to find out where this bloke lived and do exactly that. The more I sat there with my dogs, and the imagination running wild, the more I really wanted to visit a harsh lesson to the chinese cu nt. However, what would be the point? There are a thousand more like him doing exactly that.

I honestly think that if I won the lottery, I would spend time arranging hunting trips for people to go and take out these fuckers. I'd have no problem at all slotting one between his eyes, especially if I caught him in the act. All these fuckers - hunt them down for a change.

    ^ Can't agree more, Pseudolus...

Anyone who loves dogs as much as you obviously do, can't be all bad. On ya bro.
    I'll grab my rifle.

It's bad enough killing dogs - but FFS if you are going to kill the poor bastard, at least have the human decency to kill it swiftly man.. boiling it alive in a pot, Jesus have mercy...

RIP pooch.. best out of this cruel fcuked up world.

This thread reminds of a ex poster by the nic of TSICAR. He was a guy who lived in the same village as I do. This was his tale.
Owls are associated with evil spirits and death in Thailand. On catching one, TSICAR's FiL plucked it alive and then boiled it before eating it to show his powers over evil.
I know it's fcuk all to do with the dog thing but it ain't just the chinks who are fcuked.

Seriously? You're using a scene of a fake restaurant populated by American actors, a scene from a "Faces of Death" movie, no less, as evidence of the perfidy of the heathen Chinee? Not even Sax Rohmer would stoop that low. What next, Ming the Merciless as proof of the Chinese plan for Universal domination?
